Unemployment

Several free resources are available to job seekers in Ohio. These publications and online instructions explain how to apply for unemployment benefits, how to meet the program’s ongoing eligibility requirements, and how to access free employment services at OhioMeansJobs.com and Ohio’s OhioMeansJobs centers. Below are summaries of each, along with links for ordering/accessing them.

New at the Library

Check this page monthly to see the items that have newly arrived at the library. The scrolling items are a selection of what is new. These might not be visible on the library's shelves if you visit in person because they might be checked out. Don't worry if there are many holds on a particular item. Placing a hold on our library's items allows you to skip the line! The item will be sent back here when it has been returned. The links at the bottom of the page show all new items in the selected category.

Car Buying

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) have developed the fuel economy website, https://www.fueleconomy.gov/. The website features updated fuel economy data for new and used passenger vehicles dating back to 1984, allows side-by-side vehicle comparisons, and offers fuel-saving tips. The website also contains vehicle-specific air pollution emissions information and safety ratings and provides links to car buying websites.
