Babysitter Training: Session 2

Are you 11 through 18 years old and interested in babysitting? Learn the basics and attend both sessions to become American Red Cross certified. There is a $35 cost which includes a book packet, first aid kit, CPR face shield, and certificate. Light lunch/snacks will be provided. Spaces are limited: pre-register by calling 937-834-2004.

Thing 1 or Thing 2? Sam I Am? Come Celebrate the life and works of Dr. Seuss! There will be Dr. Seuss trivia, character search and find, crafts, and coloring pages! We will also have a Grand Prize Book Pack that children can enter to win! Each child can enter up to three times: Visiting the Library, Completing the Dr. Seuss trivia, Completing the Seuss character search and find.

"PAWS for Reading" is a fun way to read. Reading is a wonderful opportunity for children to build their imagination and to begin building skills for their future. children can read aloud for 20 minutes to a trained canine companion at the library. "Research data shows that a reading to dogs program actually helps children improve their reading skills..." University of California, Davis. Registration is required to reserve your reading time. Register early! Pick up a registration form at Mechanicsburg Public Library or call 937-834-2004 to register.
